How do I access DANte?

Once you have been granted access, DANte is available through your Office 365 account.  Sign in, using your loginID@nuigalway.ie.  The ‘waffle’ in the top left-hand corner of the screen offers a range of applications including Power BI.  Click the PowerBI icon and a list of Apps available to you will then appear.

What reports are available now?

The current suite of reports is grouped into Apps. Each App contains at least one report which in turn includes a number of pages reporting on university information.  Each report includes an ‘About’ page to help users get the maximum from the information they’re viewing.

How do I create a bookmark in Power BI?

With bookmarks in Power BI Desktop, you capture the currently configured view of a report page, including filtering and the state of visuals. Later, you can go back to that state by selecting the saved bookmark.

How do I export a visual from Power BI?

With Power BI, you can publish your report to Microsoft PowerPoint and easily create a slide deck based on your Power BI report.
