Funding Opportunities
Funding Opportunities with the Centre for Global Women’s Studies
Each year the current MA students are invited to apply for a number of Clár leader roles on a paid basis over the year (approx. €500 each). This involves, for example, co-coordination of guest speaker visits and field trips or development of the MA graduate network in collaboration with staff.
Funding Opportunities from NUI Galway
NUI Galway Taught Masters Excellence Scholarships
All successful EU applicants who hold a first class honours primary degree (Level 8) or equivalent, and who have been accepted onto a fulltime taught Masters programmes for the academic year 2016/17, are eligible for an NUI Galway postgraduate scholarship (value: €1,500). Applications open February 2016.
NUI Galway International Students Scholarships
In 2015-16 twenty Postgraduate Merit Scholarships, comprising a partial fee waiver (value: €2,750), are available. These scholarships are aimed at postgraduate programmes in all areas of the NUI Galway curriculum. Now open for applications, the first round of scholarship (10 awards) will be awarded in March 2016. Further rounds of scholarship awards will follow in April and May.
