QA418 All Staff Email Procedure


From Monday 30 November 2009 email communications to all staff will be limited to one collective email per week. An University of Galway Diary of Events/Dialann will be emailed to all staff by the Press & Information Office every Friday.

The new layout of the Diary of Events/Dialann will see the title of the event taking place with a link on each entry which will take the reader to the specific page on the Staff Intranet.

All details of events to be included in the Diary of Events/ Dialann must be uploaded by the event organiser to the Event/Dialann section of the Staff Intranet by 12 noon on Thursday of each week. Any entries received after this deadline will not be included in the email to all staff.

The Press & Information Office will not be importing any events to the Staff Intranet. The onus will be on each event organiser to upload their events.
