What to do

No immediate action is required on your part. However, if you wish to upgrade to Windows 10, you can request this via a Service Desk ticket (Request Type: 03. Desktop Laptop Support / Windows 7 to 10 Upgrade.

How to do this

  • Raise a service desk ticket to have your PC re-imaged with Windows 10
  • A member of ISS will contact you to see if your PC is suitable for an upgrade. This may not be possible for older PCs
  • You will need to ensure all you data stored on the PC is backed up, as the PC will be completely wiped as part of this upgrade.
  • You will have to bring your PC (only the PC unit, you do not need to bring the monitor, keyboard and mouse or any cables) to ISS. The ticket will contain instructions on when and where to bring it.
