Does NUI, Galway have a site licence for EndNote software?

Yes. NUI, Galway has signed up with Eduserv/CHEST for a site licence agreement (on-campus only).  The licence agreement is reviewed on a yearly basis. It should be noted that 'home use' of EndNote is not permitted. Details of the agreement are available online.  The site licence allows registered students of the University to purchase personal copies of the software (see below for details.  For off-campus use: EndNote Web)

 

How can I get EndNote software for my computer?

Can I install EndNote software on my home computer?

No. A personal copy must be purchased for installation on any machine that is not owned or operated by National University of Ireland, Galway. 

Home use of personal copies is permitted, subject to the usage terms outlined in the product licence agreement - Personal Licence. End users utilising personal copies may purchase upgrades at the personal copy price during the term of the Agreement, providing the End User is still employed or enrolled in NUI Galway at the time the upgrade is released.
