Email Setup for Staff

Staff email users may be able to setup synchronisation of email and calendar on their Android/Smartphone if the device allows synchronisation with a Office 365 server. Prior to purchasing, it is recommended that you confirm with your mobile provider that the device can be configured for Office 365. Remember to determine the data charges for this service. 

Staff email configuration details for Android/Smartphone users
Email - Add Account	Select Microsoft Exchange or Exchange, Office 365
Email Address	e.g. firstname.surname@universityofgalway.ie
Server	outlook.office365.com
SSL	Ensure that the box for Use secure connection (SSL) is checked
Username	Staff ID number username@nuigalway.ie  e.g. 0012345s@nuigalway.ie
Password	your Campus Account password
Domain	N/A
SMTP ingoing and outgoing	N/A

  Note: Your Android/Smartphone will not synchronise fully if you have sub folders within your Inbox folder.
