Technologies

The University's Placement Team interacts with business and industry to promote the NUI Galway Professional Experience Programme (PEP). This offers participating students an opportunity to avail of work experience relevant to their programme of study.
Funding
Through strategic partnerships with industry, we identify projects which have a positive impact. We then collaborate to avail of supports by national, European and international agencies.
Facilities
Our University has state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment. These include extensive biomedical and engineering laboratory facilities, and Ireland's Centre for Cell Manufacturing.
For start-ups, we have the Business Innovation Centre, which is home to around 40 companies at any given time. While our campus is also availed of by industry for conferences, meeting, and events.
