Risk Management Procedural Guide

This procedural guide was developed to assist units in the development, management and reporting of risk registers. The guide provides an outline of the key activities involved in implementing the process of risk management within the various units of the University.

The guide should be considered in the context of the overall University wide Risk Management policy including the University's risk appetite statement. The Risk Management policy sets out the:

•             overall framework to support the University in formally identifying, assessing, managing and reporting on risk;

•             responsibilities for overseeing the effectiveness of risk management; and

•             responsibilities for managing and participating in the formal risk management processes.
