Security Awareness Training

The University Management Team have determined that cybersecurity training is mandatory for all staff. Mandatory training is provided by CybSafe.

CybSafe is an easy-to-use platform that uses frequent short microlearning modules to help develop better security habits by educating and empowering you to make better security-related decisions. 

All staff have access to CybSafe, you can access the CybSafe platform from the button or URL below using single sign on (SSO) with your University account.

Canvas Course - Optional

We also offer an optional Canvas course - Security Awareness Training to all staff and students of the university. This is aimed to help educate about IT security procedures and best practices. 

Follow the steps below to enroll in this course.

Click here to go to the Canvas homepage, and log in using your Canvas login credentials.

Step 2

Under Courses and Assignments, click UCISA - Information Security Awareness

Step 3

Scroll down and click Begin to start the course.
