Mary Butler is a Lecturer in the School of Science at the Institute of Technology, Sligo and an Adjunct Lecturer in Biomedical Engineering Science, within the School of Natural Sciences at NUI Galway. Mary manages many distance learning programmes in the areas of Regulatory Affairs and Biopharmaceutical Science across Levels 6 - 9. Mary has significant experience in programme development and accreditation and has worked with many stakeholders including industry, IMDA, NIBRT, NUI Galway, RCSI and GMIT.
Mary has over ten years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device industry. Mary also has over ten years training, development and delivery experience. Mary lectures primarily to online students. Mary is joint programme director for the MSc Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs programme.
