Biography

Natasha is a lecturer in the Accountancy & Finance Discipline in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at NUI Galway. Natasha is a graduate of the B. Comm (Accounting) at NUI Galway. Following this, Natasha obtained her professional qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ACA). 

Research Interests

Natasha's research interests are in the field of management control systems. She is interested in how founders influence the management control systems. Specifically, her interests lie in the use and design of management control systems depending on the founders blueprint, as well as the role that the management control systems play in scaling.

Natasha is also interested in accounting education and is currently developing a paper with Mary Barrett, titled "
Lessons from the Cliff Edge: Online Learning for Large Class Undergraduate Students in Accounting". The emerging paper has been presented at IAFA and BAFA conferences in May 2021.
