Biography

Tina Flaherty is a part time lecturer in Marketing at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics.  After completing her Masters in Strategic Marketing with First Class Honours at NUI Galway in 2014, she was awarded the inaugural three year Research Fellowship with safefood in 2015.  During her time there, she was responsible for coordinating all market research, both quantitative and qualitative, assisting the coordination of the web and social media publishing teams and developing healthy eating and food safety consumer material.  In her role she also provided social marketing knowledge and expertise to the marketing and communications teams when developing behaviour change campaigns. 

Tina has also been involved in a number of research projects within the areas of health, investigating a physical activity strategy for 0-3 year old's with the HSE, and education, developing case studies for testing prototype infrastructure.
 
Her interests lie in sustainability, systems change and digital technologies.
