Biography

Ciara is a graduate of the BA Psychology, MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis, and PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis in National University of Ireland Galway. Ciara is also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board(R). Ciara's clinical experience is in early intervention services for children with ASD and across preschool services with typically developing children. She has also facilitated social skills groups and parent education for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder delivered by NUIG and the HSE. 

Research Interests

Ciara’s research interests include social skills and social development, early intervention for children with additional needs, peer mediated intervention, preventive research, early childhood care and education, parent and teacher training.
