Experiencing Cancer

This module focuses on four themes relevant to cancer care, as follows:
- Public and professional attitudes to cancer
- Psychosocial and communication issues surrounding cancer
- Support needs of cancer patients
- Survivorship
The team is led by Dr Maura Dowling, programme director for the MSc/PGD (Oncology)
Target market:
Registered General Nurses working in acute care or community settings.
