Women's Health in Primary Care
This module aims to provide nurses working in a variety of clinical settings with up-to-date, relevant knowledge to support their care of women. It will focus on common, frequently encountered problems presenting in primary care. In addition to providing evidence-based information on management, this module provides an opportunity for practitioners to discuss complex issues through the Blackboard-based discussion. This module consists of five online lessons supported by workshops and a clinic visit. Each lesson will run for two weeks. The workshops will address practical sessions in topics such as contraception, osteoporosis and domestic violence.
Please note that that this module is for General Practitioners and Practice Nurses. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Dr Eva Flynn if you are interest in this module - Apply here.
