Student Achievements
Poster competition hosted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow
Congratulations to our final year students Emma Mc Gonigle and Lauren Connell for their recent success in a poster competition hosted by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.
Both of our students presented primary research conducted as part of their final year research dissertation module, under the supervision of Dr Claire MacGilchrist.
Emma was awarded 2nd prize for her working investigating the role of health literacy in type 1 diabetes and Lauren was awarded 3rd prize for her research investigating the effect of semi-compressed felt off-loading modalities in healthy adults.
Fantastic for NUIG Podiatric Medicine to be represented Internationally at this level. Well done to our outstanding students!
