Photo Guidelines

‌‌‌‌Photograph Guidelines

As part of the registration process students are required to upload a photo of themselves for their student card. You must ensure, however, that the photograph meets the following requirements:

• Size: - Minimum: 32mm x 45mm  
          -  Maximum: 36mm x 50mm 
  *Photo should be of a ratio 1:1.5 (where 1 is the length of the photo and 1.5 is the height of the photograph)  
  **Please upload the photo in jpg format where possible

  Photo must be taken vertically ( on phone /tablet, i.e. do not turn phone/tablet to the side for a wide angle shot as it cannot be adjusted )

  
     
                   

• Your photograph should show a full front view of you as you would normally appear. 
• Your expression should be neutral with both eyes open and mouth closed. 
• You should not have any hair covering your eyes. Contrived expressions such as raised eyebrows, squinting or frowning are not acceptable. 
• Sunglasses and hats are not acceptable. Only head coverings worn for religious reasons are permitted.

• New 1st Year Undergrads - *11th September 2023 (*1st Round CAO Offers)
• New 1st Year postgrads - 23rd August 2023
