 The 2019 ROI Schools Analyst competition

Congratulations to all teams at the @RoySocChem Schools’ Analyst competition at @chemistrynuig recently. Third place went to @stflannans, 2nd to Moate Community College, and the winners are @dominicangalway. Well done!

Global Breakfast - IUPAC 100

Empowering Women in Chemistry: A Global Networking Event

As part of the celebration of the centenary of IUPAC in 2019, we invite you to join in a Global Women’s Breakfast. The event is titled “Empowering Women in Chemistry: A Global Networking Event”. It will be held on a single day – February 12, 2019.  

The Global Women’s Breakfast aims to assist women chemists to expand their network of contacts, both locally and internationally. Women at different stages of their individual careers can inform each other about their career progress, and together explore opportunities, in professional development and in research or teaching horizons.

So come along to room 231, School of Chemistry on the 12th of February from 10 - 11 am. Register here

NUIG heat of the RSC Schools Analyst competition May 2018

Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the NUIG heat of the RSC Schools Analyst competition held recently in the School of Chemistry. 3rd place went to St. Flannans, 2nd to Presentation Athenry and 1st to St. Josephs Patrician college.
