The School of Physics would like to welcome Dr Liz Coleman to its teaching staff.
 
Liz has been appointed as part of the Professional Diploma in Teaching Physics, a new programme designed to upskill post-primary teachers in the teaching of physics. It is a nationwide initiative to build capacity in STEM education and to train the next generation of physicists to meet societal challenges. Liz is also a researcher in the Ryan Institute Centre for Climate and Air Pollution studies, with a research focus on climate & air pollution modelling and atmospheric science strategy for policy. Furthermore, Liz is very interested in Education & Public Engagement, and is involved in strengthening links between the university, schools, and the community.
