Research interests in Entrepreneurship Education, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy and Entrepreneurial Intention. Experienced judging student enterprise competitions. Background in family business and small business.
Ronan’s research interests include Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy, Entrepreneurial Intention, Entrepreneurship Competencies, Entrepreneurship Pedagogical Practice, Entrepreneurship Curriculum Design, Social Constructionism, and the use of Novel Learning Technologies in facilitating Entrepreneurship Education.
Ronan also has an interest in Marketing Research and supervises student led marketing research projects for Irish food and beverage manufacturing enterprises.
Ronan is currently completing his doctoral studies in NUI Galway with a focus on: Creating the Conditions to Enhance Social Entrepreneurial Intention in Secondary School Contexts.
