Law has been taught at NUI Galway since 1849. The Law School has over 800 undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a staff of over 40 academics. NUI Galway has also a number of specialist Centres - the Centre for Disability Law and Policy and the Irish Centre for Human Rights.

The Summer School is designed to be an interactive and students will have the opportunity to learn about criminal law, private law and topical legal issues. It will be a fun and productive way to learn about law and why studying law at NUI Galway is a great option.

A degree in law opens up a broad range of career opportunities in many different areas. Students have a unique opportunity to meet with lecturers and current law students and explore the benefits of pursin a career in law.
