Taster Days
Booking for the 2024 University of Galway's Taster Days are now OPEN!
University of Galway is delighted to offer our on-campus Taster Days for 2024. The Taster Days will run from 10am to 1pm (approx. timing) and will comprise of a series of mini lectures by the University of Galway team followed by an optional campus tour. The aim of the Taster Days is to allow students get a taste for university lectures and topics and to better understand the range of courses and careers open to them in each area. The Taster Days schedule will be flexible on both days with a wide mix of talks available. See below:
10th April: Arts, Business, Law & Computer Science
11th April: Arts, Engineering, Science & Health Sciences
Note: A H4 in Maths in the Leaving Certificate is a requirement for all but one of our Engineering programmes.

Health Professional Taster Day 6th April 2024
The College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science is also hosting a Health Professional Taster Day on the 6th April 2024. This unique taster day brings the healthcare professions together to demonstrate all skill sets across multiple degrees- Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Podiatric Medicine and Speech and Language Therapy. This means that there is something in this programme for everyone interested in a career in healthcare. Find out more here.
