Biography

Clodagh obtained her MSc in Biomedical Science in 2017 and recently completed her PhD in 2022 from the University of Galway. Her PhD work was focused on Extracellular Vesicle (EV)-encapsulated microRNAs (miRNAs) for treatment of breast cancer. Her current area of research at CÚRAM, under the supervision of Prof. Laurence Egan, involves evaluating nanoparticle formulations for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
