  • Dr. Simone Coughlan received a HRB-TMRN Summer Scholarship for a student to do an eight-week internship to review current approaches for returning genomics results to clinical trial participants
  • Roberto Galizia successfully completed his PhD thesis on Thursday 15 April (supervisor: Petri Piiroinen)
  • Dr. Hannah Conroy-Broderick is joining the school for two years as a postdoctoral fellow recruited with Dr. Stephan Rudykh's ERC funding
  • Dr. Stephan Rudykh also recruited two PhD students: Andrei Cherkasov and Konstantin Kikinov 
  • Dr. Bharat Tripathi gave a talk at ​the 6th Oxford International Neuron and Brain Mechanics Workshop 19-20 April
  • Prof. Michel Destrade gave a talk and co-organised a mini-symposium at the Joint British Mathematical Colloquium (BMC) and British Applied Mathematics Colloquium (BAMC) 6-9 April
  • Prof. Michel Destrade is one of the "Key International Talents" of the Chinese 111 Project on the Mechanics of Soft Matter. He will be funded to visit Zhejiang University over the next five years.
