  • Prof. Michel Destrade was external examiner for a PhD thesis submitted to the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan (Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics)
  • PhD student Victoria Sanchez-Munoz will give a talk on "Nash Equilibria in certain two-choice multi-player games 
    played on the ladder graph" at the 8th. European Congress of Mathematics (Slovenia, 20-26 June 2021 - see 8ecm.si )
  • Two PhD students from Dr. Pilib's Ó Bróin's group will present at the upcoming joint Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology/European Conference On Computational Biology (ISMB/ECCB 2021) virtual conference being held July 25th-30th.
    • Barry Digby will present: 'nf-core/circrna: a nextflow workflow for the quantification, microRNA target prediction and differential expression analysis of circular RNAs in RNA-Seq data'.
    • Sarah Ennis will present: 'Using single-cell transcriptomics to characterise the bone marrow microenvironment in health and leukemia'.
  • Dr. Andrew Simpkin received €110,000 from the SFI Insight Platform Research fund for a four-year funded PhD student to work on modelling sensor data
