Research Study Newsletters
The purpose of the Newsletters is to provide an update on what we do at the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, and to share the knowledge and findings from our research.
Our role at the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, NUI Galway is to research and evaluate Tusla’s Development and Mainstreaming Programme for Prevention, Partnership and Family Support. This new programme of action, implemented by Tusla, Ireland’s Child and Family Agency, seeks to transform child and family services nationally by embedding prevention and early intervention into the culture and operations of the organisation (www.tusla.ie).
We aspire not only to generate learning for Tusla as it implements but also to see if the programme is effective. The purpose of the newsletters is to explain what we do at the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre, and to share the knowledge and findings from our research.
For further information on the full programme of work or to see our publications and resources to date, please visit our dedicated programme web page at www.nuigalway.ie/childandfamilyresearch/mainstream.
