The Conference on the Future of Europe Event on Housing hosted by the NUI Galway, Centre of Housing Law, Rights and Policy.

Housing – or the challenges facing young people in accessing affordable housing, is emerging as one of the key issues for the European Union. While the great majority of Europeans live in good quality, affordable housing as a result of major State and private investment since the 1950s, the picture for young Europeans is not so rosy. This Event is addressed by experts on housing issues. It examines what is the EU doing well in the area, what the EU could improve, and what would be an ideal model for housing in Europe look like in 20-30 years.
