Grading of Posts

Below is the schedule for the Grading Committee meetings.   Any positions to be considered must be received by the submission deadline so they can be considered by the Committee using the appropriate Job Description Layout which can be found here Please do not pre-grade the post but do ensure all other posts shown on the org chart have their grades listed.

Please email the job description to mairin.nifhatharta@universityofgalway.ie in advance of the submission deadline.  Late applications will not be considered until the following month.

Due to time constraints, only six posts can be graded per meeting and these will be the first six posts received.

The manager who has submitted the application may be invited to attend the Grading Committee meeting and will be advised of the time to attend 24 hours in advance.

The outcome of the Grading Committee meeting should be advised to the manager within 48 hours of the meeting.
