About GNC
Disorders of the brain and nervous system account for 35% of Europe’s total disease burden at a cost of €400 billion per annum. The GNC is committed to alleviating this burden by making neuroscience a strategic priority research thematic area within the University. The aim of the GNC is to develop and disseminate improved understanding of, and diagnostics and treatments for, brain and nervous system disorders.
