Biography

Research Interests

The molecular mechanisms underlying oligodendrocyte death during MS and after stroke injury. Focus on endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced in post-mortem MS tissue and in in vitro models of de- and re-myelination (organotypic brain slice cultures). Also interested in mapping ER stress molecules within the normal CNS.
