PhD student, Victoria Sánchez Muñoz, developed a workshop to introduce children to some concepts of quantum physics using a game, “Quantum Tic-Tac-Toe”! Victoria delivered this workshop in five primary schools in May
The main purpose of the workshop is to introduce the students (10-12 year old) to the quantum world in a fun way by using a game. The game is played in a computer and is a version of the usual tic-tac-toe (Xs and Os) but with additional rules that serve to illustrate two concepts used in quantum physics.
