Dr Jatoi completed PG-Diploma Clinical Neurology at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre Karachi (University of Karachi, PAK); a Diploma Management for Medical Doctors at (RCSI & IPA, Dublin IRE); Certificate in Teaching & Learning at Third level (TCD, University of Dublin, IRE); PhD in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (TCD, University of Dublin, IRE ); a degree of MBA-International Hospital & HealthCare Management (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt, Germany); European Masters and Fellowship both in Angiology/Vascular Medicine Luigi Sacco Hospital Milan & St. James’s Hospital Dublin (University of Milan, Italy & VAS).

After completion of internship he worked in Cardiology with Prof. Azhar M.A. Farooqui and Prof. Abdus Samad (NICVD Karachi); General Internal Medicine with Prof. Tasneem Ahsan & Prof. Muneer Ahmed (JPMC Karachi); Paediatrics Medicine with Prof. Abdul-Ghafar Billo (DMC & Civil Hospital Karachi); Clinical Neurology with Prof. Hassan Aziz & Prof. Shaukat Ali (JPMC Karachi); Psychiatry with Prof. Mohammad-Iqbal Afridi (JPMC Karachi); Clinical Medicine DM with Prof. Gerald H. Tomkin, and Prof. Stephen J. Lane (AMNCH Dublin); Clinical Pharmacology & Hypertension with Late Prof. John Feely (St James’s Hospital and Trinity College Dublin, University of Dublin); and Vascular Medicine with Prof. Mariella Catalano (Luigi Sacco Hospital Milan, Italy) and Dr Mary-Paula Colgan (St James’s Hospital Dublin).   

Dr Jatoi is actively involved in Academic Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology with Late Professor John Feely; and in Clinical Medicine with Dr Martina Hennessey). Since 2011 he is working with Professor Timothy O’Brien (Head Discipline of Medicine, Consultant Endocrinologist and Director Regenerative Medicine Institute, National University of Ireland, Galway).

Dr Jatoi has an experience of “Assessment of Vascular Diseases” using latest computerized software and devices i.e. SphygmoCor, Complior and Arteriograph (non-invasive devices for measurement of Arterial stiffness indices like Augmentation Index and Pulse Wave Velocity), Vascular Structure, function, flow measurements and vascular electrophysiology assessment (Vascular Ultrasound, ABI, ETT, ECG/Holter and ABPM). At present time he is working on “Renal Denervation in Resistance Hypertension”.

Dr Jatoi has an interest in clinical management and research in patients with “Vascular Diseases and Cardio-Vascular Risk Factors”.  His primary focus is on Academic Medicine.
