Healthcare Education

Much of what is known in healthcare education has been extrapolated from the research conducted by colleagues in medicine and in particular nursing. While many similar opportunities and challenges exist for sharing of knowledge, there is a requirement for specific healthcare educational research focusing on the needs of allied healthcare professionals. In this strand, the focus of research is on the role of educational theories and their impact on curriculum design, teaching methodologies, feedback, and assessment.
