Daughter of the Dagda Art Exhibition

In February 2018, the SoM hosted the Daughter of the Dagda Art Exhibition at NUI Galway. This multimedia exhibition of nine women artists explores the manner in which the female and the feminine have been portrayed in Irish mythology and iconography, from pre-Christian Ireland to the present day. The exhibition also offered the chance to highlight our focus on supporting and developing women in our School and highlighting their contributions to society. Read a recap of this event here
