The HRB CRFG dermatology research team focuses on research involving atopic dermatitis, psoriasis,  hidradenitis suppurativa and acne.

Current projects undertaken in the HRB CRFG include the following:

BADBIR study which stands for the British Association of Dermatologists Biologic and Immunomodulators Register. This a UK and Eire observational study seeking to assess the long-term safety of biologic treatments for psoriasis. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has recommended that all patients receiving these new therapies for psoriasis should be registered as part of such a  registry.

A Phase 3 Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Double-Blind Study to Evaluate Upadacitinib (JAK inhibitor) in Adolescent and Adult Subjects With Moderate to Severe Atopic Dermatitis
