In these challenging economic times, Lifelong Learning – learning for life and throughout life – has become more important than ever before to enable us cope with and respond to challenges facing the Irish population at this time. NUI Galway recognises the valuable and important role that lifelong education and training plays in the development of communities and regions, but particularly in equipping individuals to meet the needs of the changing workplace and labour market.
