ZenWorks for MAC

Please note that to successfully install ZenWorks and provided applications to University of Galway University-owned Macs, a wired connection to the University of Galway Network is required. You will also need a valid Campus Account in order to download the installer.

Click on the link to download the ZenWorks installer. ZenWorks Link

You may have to log in with your Campus Account details if not previously logged in.

Once downloaded ctrl click the .pkg file and select open.

Follow the installation instructions.

Once installation has been succesful, you can find Zenworks via the launcher application.

 Endnote is currently the only application available at this time. Clicking on the icon will install Endnote.

How may I request an application that is not available here?

Should you require additional software applications delivered to your Mac, log a ticket under the category Desktop Support (Staff & Postgrad) -> Software  -> Software Request detailing the software you require and the name of your Mac. To find out the name of your Mac:

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sharing.
Your computer’s local hostname is displayed beneath the computer’s name at the top of Sharing preferences.

The local network name is your computer’s name with .local added, and any spaces are replaced with hyphens -. For example, if your computer’s name is My Computer, your local network name is My-Computer.local. Local network names are not case-sensitive, so my-computer.local is the same as My-Computer.local.

This can then be associated to your computer and delivered at your convenience.
