IRIS: Staff List (Contact Cards)

Use the Stafflist (Contact cards) content type to quickly link to every researcher in your discipline.  It simply requires a name (e.g. Physics Staff) and for you to select the IRIS school/discipline (e.g. Physics) from a list. (a list of Valid school and dicipline names are available on the IRIS Staff List Example page). https://www.universityofgalway.ie/t4training/examples/irisstafflist/

It will display all the content cards for the selected IRIS school/discipline.
However, due to the way IRIS names its profile folders, the list will be sorted by firstname and then surname (so 'Alice Zengler' and 'Barney Rubble' would be listed before 'Charlene Adams').

You can optionally suppress certain contact cards, whose links match your supplied text .   To do this, duplicate the 'Hide certain contact cards' content (NUIG code only Content type), which can be found in NUI Galway » T4 Training » Training » Training Examples » IRIS: Staff List (Contact Cards), into your own section.  Return to your section and edit your duplicated content to include the names you wish to exclude from your Staff List

Content cards are created from the researchers' IRIS profiles nightly, so their content  (e.g. image, title, address) will always match what is in the researcher's latest published profile.  They also link to that researcher's full profile in /our-research/people/
