What is Blueclick?

Blueclick.ie is a one stop cloud based portal that allows University of Galway staff interact online directly with Three.‌  It gives access to Three's most up to date product and service information. You can order new and replacement products online, track the status of your order at any time, raise service requests and monitor the resolution of these and more.

How do I register for a Blueclick Account?

You can register for Blueclick by completing the following steps.

I have forgotten my Blueclick password, what do I do?

Go to the Blueclick.ie login screen and click Forgot Your Password?

You will be propted to enter you University of Galway email address, and click Reset Password. A new Blueclick password will be emailed to you.

What does Nominated Contact mean?

A Three Nominated Contact is a University of Galway staff member who is the single point of contact for each Unit‌‌/School/ College and Three Customer Care.

Who is my Nominated Contact?

Check with the administration staff in your own Unit‌‌/School/College to confirm who your Nominated Contact is. If you are still unsure email Three Customer Care quoting your name, Unit‌‌/School/ College, and budget code.  

How do I purchase a new or upgrade my mobile?

You can purchase new or upgrade through Blueclick.ie, just follow these steps.

What if I want to move to the University e-Government Contract & Three, and keep my current mobile number?

You can transfer your current mobile number to the the University e-Government Contract and Three.  Register on Blueclick.ie and placing your order, select you wish to port your current mobile number.   Contact your current provider, confirm the release of your mobile number and terms and charges (if any) of leaving your present contract.

When transferring your number to University e-Government Contract and Three you are committing to a new contract and upgrade pricing is avaialble to you.  If you do not wish to purchase a new device, upgrade pricing will not be available to you for another twelve/twenty four months.  You must also ensure your current device is unlocked.  Contact your current mobile provider for your device unlock code and to clarify the terms and charges (if any) of leaving your present contract.

Can I order a device that is not listed under the contract?

Only devices under the  University e-Government Contract and Three can be ordered.  If you wish to purchase another device you can contact Three directly and open a personal contract.  Please note Information Solutions and Services do not provide support for personal devices.

How do I activate a new SIM?

Once your new device and SIM are delivered, login to Blueclick.ie go to Services Requests and click Activate a new SIM.

How do I find the IMEI number?

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is the unique electronic serial number of a mobile phone.

  • Mobile Phone IMEI
    Most phones will display the IMEI number if you type *#06# on the keypad. 
    The * key is under the number 7 and the # key is under the number 9.
  • iPhone IMEI
    iPhone users, type the following on the keypad, *#06#. Your IMEI will then be displayed on your screen.
